The cosmetic brushes displayed below are some of the best available. All are feathery soft and, when cared for properly, they will last for many, many years. These are not to be compared to department store brushes - that is like comparing a Corvette to a Chevette. These are also not to be confused with shaving brushes (a totally different brush).

All of these brushes contain natural hairs, first cut only and shaped by hand. This preserves the natural tip. The seamless nickel ferrules, when used, are used for a high durable shine and secure fit to the handle. We have been assured that no animal skin is used or damaged in the process of making our brushes and that no animals have been destroyed or maimed for the purpose of making these brushes.

Now combine one of these brushes with a handle (made by you) from buckeye burl, maple burl or a 3D block.... now you get the idea. :>)

Cosmetic brushes when combined with a 3D Brush Block

Now here is an item that is totally unique! Ed Davidson has created a whole new line of 3D resin bottle stopper blocks that were created specially for high end cosmetic brushes. I have displayed samples of these completed brush sets and the women I've shown them to are totally impressed with the quality of the brushes as well as with the beauty of the handles.

The flowers embedded in the resin blocks are made from porcelain. The colored base enhances the color of the rose as well as hiding the metal cup of the brush. Looking for something new and totally different in your product line? This is it!

Use very sharp tools while turning and take light cuts.
Wear face and eye protection and keep observers away from the turning area.
