| "Museum Wax" (a clear, reusable
anchoring putty) is a great product when you need something
that will hold an item in place but not damage it. A
perfect example would be trying to take a picture of a pen
and keeping it in one place without rolling. All you
do is apply a small amount on what ever it is you don't want
to move, press it to the surface in which you are using and
that's it! To remove the "Museum Wax" from the object
just wipe off with a soft cloth. Each 50 gram jar
comes with instructions and an applicator. A little
goes a long way. |

| Kathy and I have a collection of
miniature turnings made by Debbie Welling that are extremely
small and delicate (there is a dime in the lower front of
the picture for scale). Trying to remove each piece
from our display cabinet for dusting was a major
undertaking. As you can see in the pictures below,
"Museum Wax" and an acrylic pen stand made a nice little
display and we can move them all at one time.
I also use "Museum Wax" when I photograph pens on a light
table to keep the pen from rolling. |
