For those of you who have seen my demonstrations the past several weeks at The Woodworking Shows, you have seen a new pen blank called Lamboard. Lamboard (laminated wood pieces) is used for beams in new construction. These thick boards are nothing more than pieces of scrap wood glued together under pressure to form these tough and durable beams. We have taken the Lamboard, stabilized and dyed it to make it easier to turn into these unique pens.
Please Note: Since these blanks are made from wood scraps, they might have voids in them. If your piece does have a void, fill it in with a contrasting material such as the stone fillers! This would add a pop of color to the beautifully figured pen blanks.
